It has been a long 12 days since the untimely death of Charlie Kirk. The entire country has been in a sense of shock since the assassin’s bullet ended the life of someone that never wished harm on anyone. It has been 12 days since many of us started questioning our own faith and if we are able to stand in the light of Charlie Kirk and hold our heads up high and hopefully be worthy enough to carry on his message and his mission.
I had the opportunity as did hundreds of millions of people to watch the powerful and amazing tribute to Charlie Kirk. Starting at 12pm MDT in Glendale Arizona on 09/21/25, Charlie’s publicized funeral was shown to the world. People started lining up the night before to secure a seat inside the venue that would seat 70,000 people. Watching the gathering crowds was amazing and awe inspiring. Seeing the amount of outpouring for one man, a man that truly deserved it, was hopeful.
Not only did they fill the stadium to capacity, they had to open the arena across the street for 20,000 seats of overflow, and it still wasn’t enough as there were an estimated 100,000 people physically there to say their earthly goodbyes to Charlie Kirk.
There were so many great speakers up to and including the President of the United States. All of the speeches were amazing to hear and there was such a spiritual feeling in the entire country yesterday. Charlie truly impacted the massess in such a positive and eternal way, and he will go down as a true American hero. His message will endure the eons and hopefully has been enough to reshape the country and awaken the spark in all of the Charlie Kirks out there to carry that message on.
Only through action can we continue to shape the youth that will be leading this country one day and can do it with God as part of their philosophy. Only with having God guide the conversation, will western society heal and thrive; without it, the society will crumble.
And so, Charlie, my unknown friend, I say my earthly goodbye to you and know that you are working just as hard on the other side. God needed you back to continue your mission from that side, but don’t worry buddy, we’ve got it from here. You have awakened my voiced and I will continue to be…Unsilenced.
